The most recent bird guide to include illustrations by Barry Van Dusen is Birds of Peru, published by Princeton University Press in 2007.

Barry illustrated sixty species of shorebirds for the book, depicting  various plumages and birds in flight.  Shown is a  sampling of the work he produced for the guide.
